Cable Pattern

Multiple of 8 stitches.

Top and botton border

Right side: P3, *k2, p6, repeat from * to last 5 sts, k2, p3.
Wrong side: K3, *p2, k6, repeat from * to last 5 sts, p2, k3.

Main pattern

Row 1 (RS): P3, *1/1 RC, p6, repeat from * to last 5 sts, 1/1 RC, p3.
Rows 2, 4, 6, 8, 10, 12, 14, and 16: Knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches.
Row 3: P2, *1/1 RPC, 1/1 LPC, p4, repeat from * to last 6 sts, 1/1 RPC, 1/1 LPC, p2.
Row 5: P1, *1/1 RPC, p2, 1/1 LPC, p2, repeat from * to last 7 sts, 1/1 RPC, p2, 1/1 LPC, p1.
Row 7: *1/1 RPC, p4, 1/1 LPC, repeat from *.
Row 9: K1, *p6, 1/1 LC, repeat from * to last 7 sts, p6, k1.
Row 11: *1/1 LPC, p4, 1/1 RPC, repeat from *.
