Cable Techniques

3/2/3 RPC: Slip 5 sts to CN and hold in back, K3, slip 2 sts from CN to left needle and move CN to front, P2, K3 from CN.
3/2/3 LPC: Slip 3 sts to CN and hold in front, slip 2 sts to second CN and hold in back, K3, P2 from back CN, K3 from front CN.

Cable Pattern

20 stitches.

TOP AND BOTTOM BORDER

Right side: P2, (k3, p2) 4 times.
Wrong side: K2, (p3, k2) 4 times.

MAIN PATTERN

Row 1: P2, (k3, p2) 4 times.
Wrong side rows: Knit the knit stitches and purl the purl stitches.
Row 3: P2, (k3, p2) 4 times.
Row 5: P2, (k3, p2) 4 times.
Row 7: P2, k3, p2, 3/2/3LPC, p2, k3, p2.
Row 9: P2, (k3, p2) 4 times.
Row 11: P2, 3/2/3 RPC, p2, 3/2/3 LPC, p2.
Row 13: P2, (k3, p2) 4 times.
Row 15: P2, k3, p2, 3/2/3 LPC, p2, k3, p2.
